个人简介

Dr. Yiqian Wu is an Assistant Professor at the National Biomedical Imaging Center, Peking University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where she later served as a postdoctoral researcher and Assistant Project Scientist before joining Peking University.

Dr. Wu's research lies at the intersection of synthetic biology, sonogenetics, cell therapy, and gene editing. Her group develops next-generation CAR-T cell engineering strategies, synthetic immune circuits, and spatiotemporally controllable therapeutic platforms, including ultrasound-responsive CAR-T immunotherapies and gene-editing systems, to improve the precision, safety, and efficacy of cancer treatment.

Dr. Wu has authored publications in leading journals, including Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, and Science Advances. Her pioneering studies on focused ultrasound-controllable CAR-T cells, ultrasound-regulated genomic toolboxes, and light-controllable CAR-T cell therapies have contributed to advancing the emerging fields of sonogenetics and programmable cancer immunotherapy.
